On Tuesday April 19th Middlesex Centre posted on their website the date for the Special Council Meeting on declaring the Community Centre Surplus and the sale of parkland to a Commercial venture. Vote to be held at a later date.
Meeting date: Weds April 27th

We encourage you to participate in any way you can. If you can’t watch it live please watch it later as the number of views will signal to Council the level of community interest.
A few of the SaveThePark committee members will speak on specific topics. But please don’t let us do all the talking! We encourage you to speak and make your points directly to council. Don’t hold back thinking that somebody else will make your point(s). The more residents that speak, the better.
We have to get three Councillor’s to respect Councillor Cates’s “NO” vote and vote “NO” along with her. We need to get them to close their eyes and picture this happening in their ward. They’d be voting “NO” for sure and asking other councillors to support them! Councillors need to justify why build on parkland instead of somewhere else in Middlesex Centre. It’s so clear to us, I hope they get it.
